MMW [Math Monster Words]is a word game that's similar to the pencil game of "Hangman".
The player gets a mathematical word of blanks and chooses letters to spell the word. Each incorrect letter produces a piece of the Math Monster. If the Math Monster is completed, the player loses.
The player gets six chances to guess the word and spell it correctly. The player can get a "hint" [50% chance of a hint.]
The hints build a mathematical vocabulary and spelling is re-inforced by choosing all letters in the word.
A running total of games won is listed after each play and a final score is provided when the player quits.
Math Monster Words is an apps project of Ms Math Master that includes elementary lesson drills and simple puzzles.
